Dooley Talks Commitment

Mason HS (OH) linebacker Josh Dooley talks about his decision to become a Red Hawk.

6-foot-2, 210 pound linebacker Josh Dooley recorded 50 tackles, with 16 of those coming for a loss his last season. After attending camps and visiting schools, the senior felt like he was ready to make his commitment.

"I committed to Miami (Oh)", said Dooley. "I like being around the coaches. I really liked the campus and the school."

Dooley chose the Red Hawks over Air Force, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Indian, Kent State and Ohio. The senior now feels relived to have the recruitment process over and can focus on the upcoming season.

"More people were beginning to commit, so it felt like it was the best time. It feels good for it to be done. A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

Now that Dooley has decision made, he going to try and persuade some others to follow him to Oxford.

"I'm definitely trying to get other guys to come with me, especially around this area. We have a lot of good players. I'll do what I can to get them to come too."
