Central Michigan landed a three-star safety and the #14 player in the state by Scout.com today, Grand Blanc safety Jordan Fields
The 6'0, 180-lb prospect had offers from Kansas and Kentucky among others, and is a legacy commit, as his father played for the Chippwas.
"I've made my decision. Central Michigan it is," he reported to Scout today.
He was scheduled to go to Michigan State this week, but will not be making the trip as he found everything he needed in Mount Pleasant.
"The size isn't so big and it's number one in the state and number five in the country for my major. The coaching staff is phenomenal and I want to be apart of this stage. They have one of the strongest non conference schedules by playing MSU, South Carolina, Alabama and Kentucky. They gave great sells on playing as a freshman, and it's just close to home."
Fields is the 12th commitment on the year for head coach Dan Enos and company.
