He likes the Texas A&M Aggies but he is also looking at a couple of
out-of-state schools in case he decides to leave the state.
"I liked Notre Dame when I was younger," Seastrunk told The Insiders, "but
I went to a couple of games at Texas A&M last year and I liked what I saw. They showed me a lot of hospitality and they have a lot of tradition. It's a different tradition than you see at most places. They have a pretty good
football program too."
Seastrunk is getting interest from schools all across America but he is keeping close tabs on the Aggies, Notre Dame, LSU, Texas, Houston and Texas Tech. He has ties to Louisiana and that could favor LSU coach Nick Saban if
he can get Seastrunk to the LSU campus.
"I have a lot of relatives in Louisiana," Seastrunk said. "LSU has a good program and they've been doing good lately. Another thing I like is the athletes get good exposure over there. They'll probably be one of my official visits."
If he puts up the kind of stats he did as a junior then he will have his
choice as to where he spends the next four or five years of his life.
On offense, Seastrunk nabbed only 11 passes for 432 yards in a run-oriented offense, but defensively he was a menace to opposing teams. He split time at cornerback and strong safety where he totaled 29 tackles, six interceptions and 15 pass breakups. Even he could not tell you which side of the ball his future rests at.
"It doesn't matter," he said. "It's 50-50 where I'll play."
Seastrunk may not know which position he will end up at but he certainly knows what he is looking for in a school.
"Graduation rate and environment is what I'm really looking at," he said. "I want to go to the place I have the best chance to further my career at."
