That performance could vault Collins into the five-star group on Scout in the near future. At 6-foot, 203 pounds, he showed great speed (4.42 in 40 yard dash) and he made plays on the field.
Where is he going to take his speed and play-making ability on the next level?
Right now two schools stand above the rest, but five are still in contention.
"LSU and Alabama are the schools I have at the top right now because I have visited each of those, I know the coaches there, and I feel good at each school. The other three schools in my top five are Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. You could call them my final five because I will probably choose one of those schools when I commit."
Collins will commit at the Under Armour All-America game early in January in Orlando, Fla.
Between September 1 and late December, Collins plans to take his five official visits. He has one set now.
"I will be going to Florida the last weekend in September for my official visit," he said. "That is the only one I know about now, but I am starting to work on the others."
Those official visits will be key for the top prospect in Louisiana because what he takes away from those trips will play a big role in his decision.
"Trust is a huge key for me. I want to go play for coaches that I know are being honest with me and for who I can trust. Part of the reason I have LSU and Alabama on top right now is how I feel around the coaches there. How I feel around the coaches will be big for me."
