One of the five prospects to commit to Georgia at Dawg Night on July 15 was Stanley Williams. This 2014 speedster grew up following the Dawgs and he talks about that, his decision, and more here.

Stanley Williams checked into Athens at 5-foot-7, 172 pounds for Dawg Night. He is well put together and he ran for over 1,000 yards as a freshman, but what had to stand out to Georgia was his 4.28 second time in the 40 yard dash.

They had him on their campus earlier in the summer for a camp and they had seen his tape, so they had a good idea of what he could do.

The Dawgs offered him at Dawg Night and he committed on the spot.

He has grown up a Dawg, but he still has three years of high school remaining. He also has other offers from Auburn, Clemson, and Georgia Tech. Find out why he chose UGA, how solid he, and more here in this interview.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
