The answer: Very.
"I've been waiting and working for the Alabama offer," said Raulerson. "That one? I'm pretty excited about it. It's a great offer and a big deal to me.
"I called Coach (Mike) Groh yesterday and asked what he's been up to and what's going on at Alabama. He told me they're about to start fall ball, and then I asked him if Coach (Nick) Saban had watched my film yet.
"He said, 'Yes,' and then offered me a scholarship to the University of Alabama."
Raulerson likes the Crimson Tide.
"Coach Saban is a great coach," he said. "They're recruiting me as a jack linebacker, and I feel that's a great position for me.
"They have a tremendous legacy at Alabama with Coach (Bear) Bryant. I love their tradition. I want to play for a school that competes for national titles, and that's what Alabama does."
Today, Texas Tech offered and Raulerson has been cognizant of the Red Raiders' recent recruiting success.
"I've been paying attention to their recruiting," said Raulerson. "I know ('12 Argyle OL) Trey Keenan, who committed to Texas Tech. He had offers from everywhere.
"They have a great football team and are pulling in a lot of talent. It's exciting."
Raulerson spoke with coaches Sonnie Cumbie and Tommy Tuberville today.
"They asked how things are going for me and then let me know they have a scholarship for me at Texas Tech," said Raulerson.
