Burke Receives 1st Offer

Anybody who has seen Columbia, Pa., product Michael Burke in action on the football field or at 7-on-7 passing camps has been shocked that his profile isn't full of offers at this point. Finally this week, one school jumped into the mix and put themselves into official contention for his services.

Michael Burke is a dominating force at wide receiver who we've been waiting to see start piling up offers and while the process has started late for the 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete, he finally grabbed his first one this week.

"Villanova offered me a scholarship," Burke exclaimed in a message to us recently.

As a junior, Burke caught 72 passes for 1200 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also returned an interception for a touchdown. He was named Wide Receiver of the Year for Section III, first-team All-League and first-team All-State at receiver. He was also named honorable mention All-League at defensive back.

He was easily one of the top performers on the East Coast at New Level Athletic passing camps this year along with Stefon Diggs and Deontay McManus.
