Worcester, Mass., WR Canaan Severin was an integral part of the Midwest Gridiron Kings team championship appearance.
"It was good," Severin said of the tournament. "We lost in the championship though."
He added, "I caught the touchdown in the semi-finals that would end up being the winning touchdown, so I was pumped about that."
Severin was one of the 64 skill position players invited to the event. And that elite company, is exactly what Severin enjoyed most.
"The best part about it was the competition from all over the country," Severin said. "I enjoyed meeting guys like Ronald Darby and C.J. Prosise who are both going to Notre Dame, Kwontie Moore who is going to Virginia, and Cyrus Jones from Maryland."
"They are new offers that I was waiting on," Severin said of his recently expanded list. "They came to visit me during school, so I got to know them both a little bit."
Although the rest of Severin's summer plans don't include any more visits, he is exactly where he wants to be.
"I'm definitely happy with what I have," Severin said of his recruitment.
