Arizona's Top QB Prospects for 2011 Season
1. Connor Brewer - Chaparral
2. Jon Brown - Apollo
3. Hunter Rodriguez - Desert Vista
4. Tommy Thornton - Marcos De Niza
5. Jordan Gehrke - Notre Dame Prep
6. Tyler Bruggman (JR) - Brophy Prep
7. Kurtis Walls - Fairfax
8. Kyle Duran - Basha
9. Bryce Kinsler (JR) - Cactus Shadows
10. Taylor Audsely - Bradshaw Mountain
Riser- Tommy Pistone - Yuma Catholic- Kid has impressive film and had big numbers last year but no one knows about him because he's from Yuma. At 6-5 200, he's a drop back passer and will put up big numbers in 2011.
Darrell Garretson - Chandler- Garretson, just a junior, has huge shoes to fill but the coaches have high hopes for him and he has looked good in summer passing league and at college camps.
Blake Kemp - Hamilton- Hamilton has a good thing going, grooming QBs and getting solid play out of them as seniors. Kemp got in the rotation last year with Kyren Poe. How will he do as a full time starter?
Pound for Pound Award - Andre Gattie - Liberty- Kid gets it done on the ground and in the air, topping over 1,000 yards in each category in 2010.
Biggest Questions- Will Jordan Becerra play any QB at Desert Ridge? Or will Parker Rasmussen bounce back fully from his injury and take all of the snaps? Will D.J. Foster play QB? Rumor is he is going to play some Wildcat. Whats up with Alyn Fletcher? Is he going to play at Catalina Foothills, Salpointe, or elsewhere? How will Centennial handle the situation wth Justin Sanchez and Troy Hawthorne?
