Chris Sailer Kicking made another stop on its Nike Summer Camp Tour recently. Atlanta, Georgia was the scene. As always, there was great talent in the south. Of the 4 regional summer camps run to date, the Georgia camp by far produced the most talent. Take a look at the results.
Drew Patton (2012 KY): Drew is solid 2012 prospect. He stepped up when it counted most and made it into the semifinals by wining the field goal last man standing competition. In the finals he nailed consecutive 50-yard field goals to win it.
Best 2012 talent:
Adam Griffith (GA): The 2-time Chris Sailer Kicking “TOP 12” Member and Alabama commit is in a class of his own when it comes to talent. He possesses the strongest leg that I have ever seen at the high school level. His field goal range is over 60 yards, and he hit many kickoffs 75+ yards with 4.25+ seconds hang-time. Alabama landed the clear #1 kicking prospect in the nation.
Other 2012 Talent: Blake Lucas (GA), Michael Mardecai (MS), and Steven Brauchle (MS)
Best 2013 Talent:
David Petroni (GA): David will be a top 5 national prospect in this class. The “TOP 12” Member is a great combo prospect (K/P). He has 55+ yard field goal range, kickoffs are 65+ yards with 4.0 + hang-time, and his punting is solid. David will be on college radars very soon.
Other 2013 Talent: Jonathan King (TN) and Kyle Fowler (GA)
Best 2014 Talent:
Aaron Medley: Aaron is a great young prospect. He is a great athlete that has excellent natural talent. He has the size, strength, and ability to develop into a top national prospect. Look for big things in the future from Aaron.
Other 2014 Talent: Tyler Newsome (GA)
Best 2015 Talent:
Rodrigo Blankenship (GA) Rodrigo is the best 8th grader that I have ever seen. He has all the tools to join the varsity team this coming season as 9th grader. He is big, strong, and technically very sound. Rodrigo is a smooth kicker with a bright future.
