Gross Excited For the Pac-12
Over the weekend, Santee (Calif.) Santana HS tight end T.D. Gross competed at the Cal-State Game Camp, where Gross showed off his size and athleticism for a chance to be selected to play in the game. "Just to prove myself again, I got the opportunity to come out here so, just to continue to prove what I can do. It's a great experience getting to play against the best in California," said Gross. "I feel confident in my performance, I played well both days. I think it's going to shape-up good for the 5-star game." Goss announced his commitment to the wildcats earlier this summer. "I committed to Arizona about a month ago. I was comfortable with the coaches there and the environment around the school. It's close enough to home where my family and coaches can still come up and watch me play, but it is still far away," said Gross. "I went to Arizona to visit a couple times last year and a couple times this year." Now that Gross' decision is out of the way, he is looking forward to being able to focus all of his energy towards his upcoming senior season. "I was glad to get my decision out of the way," said Gross. "I am pretty close to breaking the ‘all-time career catches' record at my HS but I would rather get more wins than more catches." Gross is also looking forward to his official to Arizona in the fall. "I will definitely be going up there for my official visit during their season, to watch one of their games," said Gross. "I wanted to go and watch them play Utah, since that was the other school I was very interested in but they are actually playing that game in Utah."
