Miami-Dade Christian QB calls it for Kansas
Posted Jul 27, 2011

July 27 is proving to be a big day on the recruiting trail for Head Coach Turner Gill and the Kansas Jayhawks. On the heels of Garland (TX) High QB Seth Russell making his commitment, Miami Dade Christian gunslinger Bilal Marshall also pulled the trigger for Kansas.

Marshall, a three-star prospect, committed following an unofficial visit to the Lawrence, Kan. campus last weekend.

Boasting and impressive offer list, he cited his close relationship with lead recruiter Robert Wimberly as one of the key factors in his decision.

"I'm locked in," he said. "I'm locked in. I know that schools are still going to be trying to pursue me, but I'm just going to have to be a man about it and let them know I'm a Jayhawk."

Stay tuned to for a full report coming this evening.
