2013 Nabs First Offer

Bishop McNamara (MD) 2013 defensive end Kevin Robbins Jr. landed a big offer from the Big East.

Earlier this summer, Kevin Robbins Jr., the son of former NFL tackle Kevin Robbins, had the chance to show off his skills as a defensive lineman at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp in Washington D.C. His hard work caught the eyes of the Syracuse coaching staff and an early offer followed thereafter.

"It's an honor to have an offer from Syracuse," said the 2013 prospect out of Bishop McNamara High (MD). "It was great meeting coach Rob Moore and working with coach Jimmy [Brumbaugh], the defensive line coach, at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp."

Robbins continues to embrace the fundamentals he learned from the coaches at camp.

"I have been working on some of the drills coach Jimmy showed us. He has all the fundamentals that I look for in a coach."

With offer number one in the books, Robbins will enter his junior year off to a good start. He recently attended a Maryland camp where coach Randy Edsall and company will continue to monitor his development throughout the next season.
