Parson Picks Orange
Old Dominion State standout OLB Darius Parson has one offer under his belt, from Syracuse – but the Orange aren't only school who recently expressed interest in the Woodbridge HS standout. "Marshall, Michigan State, Boston College, Ohio and there are a lot of others that are interested in me," Parson said. Perhaps some of the reason that Parson is generating so much interest, is his ability to play hard nosed football, every down. "I believe the strongest part of my game is that I know how to get to the ball," Parson said. "Even if I am getting blocked I know how to get rid of the blockers and get to the ball." He continued, "One way or another I just always happen to find myself making plays." And Wednesday, Parson decided he where he would be taking his talents in college – Syracuse. "My parents are both excited," Parson said of his decision. And so is the 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect. "Well I have been talking to Coach Moore for a while now," Parson said. "And he is such a nice guy, I feel really comfortable with him." He added, "And I have heard nothing but great things about the school, and I want to major in communications and Syracuse is the best." Parson will pay a visit to the Orange August 26th to meet the team and catch the end of preseason camp.
