Tennessee: In-state decisions

The state of Tennessee has 34 players who have already made their college decisions to 19 different schools. Andrew Bone takes a look at the programs who are doing well in the Volunteer State.


The Tigers have reeled in five commitments which includes Will Gross, four-star quarterback from Memphis-Melrose, Sheldon Dawson, three-star cornerback from Memphis-Ridgeway, Eric Belew, safety from Columbia Central, Carl Mitchell, defensive end from Memphis-Wooddale, and Daniel Hurd, wide receiver from Memphis-Wooddale.

Ole Miss

The Rebels have four commitments which includes Ben Still, three-star offensive guard from Memphis University School, Jaylen Walton, three-star running back from Memphis-Ridgeway, I'tavius Mathers, three-star running back from Murfreesboro-Blackman and C.J. Beathard, quarterback from Franklin-Battle Ground Academy.


The Volunteers also have four commitments including Drae Bowles, four-star wide receiver from Jackson Christian, George Bullock, three-star kicker from Knoxville-West, Cody Blanc, wide receiver from Knoxville-Central, and Austin Sanders, offensive guard from Cleveland-Bradley.


The Commodores also have four commitments including Brian Kimbrow, four-star running back from Memphis-East, Barrett Gouger, three-star offensive tackle from Chattanooga-Baylor, Caleb Azubike, three-star defensive end from Nashville-McGavock, and Cory Batey, wide receiver from Nashville-Ensworth.


The Razorbacks have two commitments with teammates Cordale Boyd, three-star offensive guard from Memphis-Ridgeway, and Brandon Lewis, three-star defensive end.

Arkansas State

The Red Wolves have added a couple of commitments with Latarius Brady, offensive guard from Memphis-East, and Greg Buckhanon, defensive tackle from Memphis-Mitchell.


The Tigers have one commitment in Jovon Robinson, four-star running back from Memphis-Wooddale.


The Tigers have one commitment in Jay Guillermo, three-star center from Maryville.


The Bearcats have one commitment with Alex Dale, cornerback from Memphis University School.


The Wildcats have one commitment from Landon Foster, a punter from Thompson's Station-Independence.


The Wolverines have one commitment with Blake Bars, three-star offensive tackle from Nashville-Montgomery Bell Academy.

Mississippi State

The Bulldogs have one commitment with Will Redmond, three-star cornerback from Memphis-East.

North Carolina

The Tar Heels have one commitment with Patton Robinette, a three-star quarterback from Maryville.


The Panthers have one commitment with Chad Voytik, a four-star quarterback from Cleveland.

South Alabama

The Jags have one commitment with Grant Powell, a quarterback from Memphis-Christian Brothers.


The Cardinal has one commitment with Graham Shuler, a three-star center from Brentwood Academy.

Texas Tech

The Red Raiders added one commitment from Chase Robison, a defensive end from from Memphis-Christian Brothers.

Virginia Tech

The Hokies have one commitment with Woody Baron, a three-star defensive end from Brentwood Academy.

Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons have one commitment with Tyler Hayworth, an offensive guard from Kingsport-Dobyns Bennett.
