"Practice is going good," said Coleman. "The team looks good and I feel good about the season.
"We are going to be a young team, but we have a lot of talent. Everybody is working hard to get ready."
As a senior, Ladarius is ready to step up and lead the younger guys to victory.
"I am going to be playing outside this year where I can make more of an impact," said Coleman. "I am used to playing inside at three technique, but I am learning to play outside now.
"I like it. I feel like I can really help the team."
Ladarius believes he has the skill set and work ethic to help a team on the college level as well. He is banking on a strong senior campaign to elevate his stock as a college prospect.
"I have an offer from Arkansas State and a few other schools are showing me interest," said Coleman. "LSU seems to really like me.
"They are coming to see me in October. They said they want to see me and check out my grades and all of that."
The Mississippi Gulf Coast product is prepared to wait out the process and see what options come his way.
"I am ready to show people what I can do," said Ladarius. "I am going to work hard this year and then see what all offers I get before I make a decision."
