Virginia Top 30

Virginia is not as deep this year as it has been in the past, but the top end talent is very good including five-star outside linebacker Eli Harold who is the No. 1 player in the Virginia Top 30. Harold is a freak athlete who could play a number of different positions on the next level. He was one of the newest members of the Top 50 in the most recent rankings update.

The Ocean Lakes product is followed by defensive end Ken Ekanem from Centreville and Brookville defensive tackle Korren Kirven.

Woodberry Forest safety and Notre Dame pledge C.J. Prosise, Briar Woods safety and Stanford commit Alex Carter, along with Oscar F. Smith running back and future Virginia Tech Hokie J.C. Coleman are nestled comfortably in the top ten and they proved over the spring and summer that they belong.

Talk about recruiting your own state, twenty of the top 30 prospects are committed to Virginia or Virginia Tech respectively.

***Woodbridge outside linebacker Darius Parson who checks in at No. 26 recently committed to Syracuse.***
