Scouting: Bishop Chatard vs Brebeuf Jesuit
RECAP Another game that was closely contested for awhile, but Chatard took over late in the second half and pulled away with a 31-7 victory. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Sid Anvoots / Sr. / OT (6-3, 285) Anvoots plays right tackle for Chatard, but the Louisville commit is slated to play center for the Cardinals. I was impressed with his toughness, overall technique and his ability to finish his blocks. Simply put, the guy across from him ended up on the ground more often than not. I think he'll be a good fit as an interior guy in college. He was impressive in this opener. Rob Dury / Jr. / MLB (6-1, 210) Tough football player that flies around the field and plays with reckless abandon. Good instincts and seems to have a nose for the ball. Needs to keep getting bigger and stronger, but a good player. Brebeuf Jesuit Jon Toth / Sr. / OT (6-5, 290) Great looking kid on the hoof. If he's truly 290, as he is listed, he can easily carry 30-40 more pounds. He looks slim and lean at the size he is now. He looked very good on offense. He finished blocks better than I had seen on tape, and moved very well. I think he still has to get stronger, and learn to consistently play meaner. He has a great set of tools though and I think he'll eventually be a player for Kentucky. Jeff George Jr. / Soph. / QB (6-2, 170) The son of former NFL quarterback Jeff George Sr., this was his first game on varsity and I thought he showed some things. He was going up against an aggressive, tough defense, but he made a couple of nice throws and hung in there despite there being a heavy rush. He did miss a couple of potentially big plays. He was best throwing the ball over the middle of the field. I think he'll have a good year. What level of a prospect he becomes will depend on how much he grows and develops over the next few years.
