BYU commitment Butch Pauu led his #11 Servite team to Oceanside on Thursday night to open up the Southern California High School football season against a tough Pirates team.

Pauu helped his Friars pitch a shutout as Servite prevailed 20-0 in front of a packed house.

Pauu is a stout 5'11/220 pounds and excels when he is attacking North/South. It was a common site to see #18 crashing the line of scrimmage, turning around a lead blocker, making a tackle, and hearing his name and number called by the P.A. announcer.

Pauu can work on his lateral range and his change of direction, specifically as it applies to covering running backs out of the backfield.

Without a doubt though, he is a between the tackles run stuffer, and you can see him in action from his first game as a senior in this presentation by ScoutTV.
