Central Michigan picks up their fifth commitment so far this year…
Greer Looking Forward
Mount Carmel HS standout DB Brandon Greer knew Central Michigan was where he belonged from the moment he set foot on campus. "I thought Central Michigan was one of the top schools that I liked out of the schools I had offers from," Greer said. "I went down to visit, I liked the coaching staff and I liked the school." And he has plans to visit again after his senior season draws to a close. "I am actually going to one of the home games later on this season," Greer said. "In October maybe." And he already can't wait to suit up for Central Michigan in 2012. "I am excited about the atmosphere that I will be in," Greer said. "I just like it down there and I actually cant wait to go on a official visit, so I really get to see it." He added, "I hear people saying that I could go bigger, but bigger isn't always better." Greer is also ready to have a big senior season – on both sides of the ball for Mount Carmel. "First off I am going both ways at safety and RB," Greer said. "And I am just trying to contribute and help my team, and do well this year, just do my best and get off to college." And two months after his commitment, there is still no doubt in the Chicago, Ill., native's mind about his choice. "Out of the schools I visited I liked Central Michigan the best and I feel comfortable with my decision,"
