Colin Blake, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound cornerback from Brandeis (Texas) High was considering offers from a number of schools like Texas A&M, TCU and Oklahoma.
He was even drawing interest from the Texas Longhorns, who had yet to offer, so he had plenty of the best options in the region on the table.
On Labor Day he ended his recruitment after seeing all that he needed to see over the weekend while he was in College Station watching the Aggies drum SMU.
"I'm officially an Aggie," Blake stated. "I just wanna thank my family, friends, and all the people who showed me love this weekend and welcomed me with open arms. I also wanna thank the coaches who recruited me and gave me a chance to go to their universities. Can't wait to be in Aggieland!! Godbless & Gig'em !"
Blake is rated as a three-star prospect by Scout.com and is rated as the #31 CB prospect nationally.
