Oscar Smith High (Chesapeake, Va.) running back J.C. Coleman committed to Virginia Tech in late April, and since then has been quiet in the recruiting process.
The 5-foot-7, 175-pound Coleman plans on making plenty of noise during his senior season, and he showed his big-play ability with a 79-yard touchdown run in a loss to The Gilman School (Baltimore) in the I-95 Classic.
Scout.com was on hand to watch Coleman, who exhibited cut-back ability, speed when he got to the outside and hands to catch the ball out of the backfield.
There is a reason he also had offers from the likes of West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Vanderbilt and Duke, and Scout.com has the highlights to prove it.
