What's going on with some of the Midwest's top juniors? We take a spin around the region and find out.

- Warren Central linebacker Tim Kimbrough was offered by Cincinnati yesterday. The Bearcats join Purdue and North Carolina on his offer list. We hear Iowa is one of the schools that has ramped up their interest in the 6'1, 215-lb prospect.

- Mail has been flooding in for Midland High (Mich.) standout offensive tackle Steven Elmer so far this fall. Among the new schools making contact are Pac-12 powers Stanford and Oregon.

- Michigan is hosting several top juniors from the Midwest for their game against Notre Dame tomorrow. A few more we've confirmed include Wheaton St. Francis (Ill.) offensive lineman Kyle Bosch, Toledo St. Johns (Ohio) teammates Matt Miller, a defensive end and quarterback Brogan Roback, along with Naperville North (Ill.) guard Collin Goebel.

- Manchester (Mich.) quarterback Nate Bossory is one of the top junior signal callers in the state, and he has told us that Michigan State and Indiana have both invited him up for games. He says he will be in East Lansing when the Spartans take on Central Michigan on September 24th.

- Maine South (Ill.) quarterback Matthew Alviti, one of the Midwest's best at the position, has been contacted by UCLA, Penn State, Mississippi State, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Nebraska and others. He holds offers from Notre Dame, Indiana, Illinois and Northwestern.

- The coaching staff at Plymouth High (Mich.) tells us West Virginia has picked up the interest in junior wide receiver Jamarl Eiland, an athletic 6'1, 185-lb playmaker who also returns kicks. Cincinnati has shown interest as well. The Bearcats, along with Mississippi State and Ball State continue to show interest in another Wildcat junior receiver, Nate Emminger, as well.

- Indianapolis Ben Davis (Ind.) safety Antonio Allen told us a few days ago that Notre Dame had made contact, and now he says that was followed by interest from Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Oregon.
