Scout.com live evaluation: Most of the time when you cover
a football player with world class track speed (named the fastest 16/17 year
old in the country as only a sophomore), they are more of a finesse player and
like to juke and jive and outrun you to the corner. They are more or less East/West
runners until they see daylight. But not Kailo.
Moore rarely tries to outrun his opponents to the corner but rather he takes
it straight between the tackles. Once Moore gets past the line of scrimmage,
he then makes his move (usually one cut) and off he goes. And trust me, no one
will probably ever chase this young man down from behind. We do not care what
level you are on as he has a gear that few have ever possessed on the
football field.
Moore is also tough as nails. A classic case was in the third quarter of the
game, a defender for Cleveland East Side jumped on him while laying on the ground
and broke two of his ribs. Kailo went into the locker room and got it taped
up. He came back into the game and almost single-handedly won the contest when he
took them from their own two-yard line to the East Side two-yard line on the
last possession of the game.
The Ole Miss commit will undoubtedly be one of the more sought after players
in the country next recruiting season and is the top tailback we have seen come
through the Magnolia State in many, many years.
