John Curtis traveled to East St. John in an important early season match-up. The contest featured at least three players who are headed to the Southeastern Conference for their college careers. Future Texas A&M Aggie Darion Monroe led the Wildcats against Curtis' talented defense and Mississippi State pledge Torrey Bell and LSU commitment Dillon Gordon.
