One of the best linebackers we've seen for the last year out West is Portland (Ore.) Grant's Daniel Halverson.

The three-star backer has offers from Air Force, Portland State and Yale, but we think it's just a matter of time before his recruitment really takes off.

Scout.com was at Grant's upset blowout of defending state champions Beaverton (Ore.) Aloha and we talked with Halverson about the win and his recruitment.
