Navy offered (Tyler) Grace Community School wide receiver Grant Childress this morning and three more programs may be close.

"Navy just called Grant this morning and offered," said Randy Childress, father of Grace Community wide receiver Grant Childress. "Wake Forest, West Virginia and Maryland are in touch with him weekly."

Grace is 2-2 on the year and Childress is second on the squad with 16 receptions for 239 yards and a touchdown. In the opener vs. Winnsboro, Childress exploded for 146 yards on nine catches. He's also rushed for two touchdowns and is stepping off an impressive 19.88 yards per carry (8-159).

Nevada and Texas State have previously offered.
