LSU Commit Travin Dural: Quick Hitter
Breaux Bridge and St. Thomas More are both ranked near the top of the state in Class 4A and the two programs will clash in district play in week eight at Breaux Bridge. Tonight, Breaux Bridge (3-0) travels to Hammond (1-2) With St. Thomas More hosting Evangel Christian on Thursday, Breaux Bridge WR Travin Dural (LSU commit) made his way from St. Martin Parish to the southside of Lafayette to scout out the Cougars. "Our season is going real good," said Dural. "The touches are spaced out in our offense, so I try to make a big play whenever I can. We have two good quarterbacks: Lane Landry and Randall Menard (the latter currently sidelined due to injury). Lane can throw just as good as Randall, but he's not quite the runner. "You might see Lamar Louis or myself lined up at quarterback and running the ball. I ran for a 60-yard touchdown against Westgate (on the first play from scrimmage). When I see the end zone, I'm going for it." Thoughts on LSU's season? "We beat up on Oregon and are going for the national title," said Dural. "I feel really good about my commitment and want LSU fans to be on the lookout for Travin when I get there." Dural has snared a touchdown pass in each of the past two weeks, including an 87-yarder vs. Notre Dame.
