Patrick Enewally, the junior safety/wide receiver at Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr discussed the highlight of the game, after their big win against Cerritos.
“There was a hitch, I broke fast for the ball and made the hit,” said Enewally.
Although, Enewally plays both ways for his high school, Enewally has always considered himself to be more of a defensive player.
“I prefer safety, that’s my main position, which is what I would like to play at the next level,” said Enewally.
With a mission to prove defense is his main position, Enewally also talked about what he is looking for in a football program.
“I want to do better on defensive side and show that safety is my main position, that’s what I need to do to get to the next level,” said Enewally. “I am looking for great academics, with the highest level of play and a hard-working program.”
Enewally discussed the programs he has been hearing from the most.
“I have been hearing from Virginia, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Stanford, Northern Arizona, and Utah,” said Enewally. “At this point, I am open up to everyone, but I would like to hear more from Stanford especially. I have been receiving letters and emails from them, but no phone call yet. I am hoping that will change after this season. I have 3.74 GPA, and will be taking the SAT in either October or May.”
