Oklahoma Speedster has an Offer
Andrew Long, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound running back from Southmoore High (Okla.) feels like he has the skill set to fit in on the division one level. "As far as myself I am doing all right," Long said when asked how his season was going. I have about 660 yards. One thing I am doing better this year is trusting my body to make the cuts and seeing the field better." Long has one scholarship offer and a few other schools keeping tabs on his progression. "Air Force," Long responded quickly when asked how had offered. "They are coming after me pretty hard. It is the only real official offer I have right now, but I am sure more will come." Long is also still hearing from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Arizona and Colorado. An offer from OU would be considered as "awesome". Long is known for his speed and he could play a number of positions in college, but he thinks he can be a running back. "I would really like to play running back, but I would play anywhere they would want me to play,' said Long. "I know I can play running back. I am 5'9 and I could get up to 190 with a red-shirt year."
