Scouting Travez Taylor

It is hard to get overlooked in today's recruiting era with recruiting services running coast to coast. But there is a true sleeper in Summit, Miss., that is tearing it up this fall.

Scout.com evaluation: Taylor possesses quick cuts, above-average hands for a tailback, and toughness on the field. The one problem by looking at his film is that he is playing running back on almost all of his highlights and most colleges are recruiting Taylor for either cornerback or free safety.

Taylor is averaging almost 10 yards per carry this season and has already rushed for 1,031 yards and 20 touchdowns for the 5-3 defending South 4A Champs. Will Taylor get enough looks at defensive back from here on out to garner some D1 offers? You know he will pile up the offensive yards. Now he is looking for some scholarships.
