Scout.com has been informed that Manvel offensive lineman Christian Chamagua has recently committed…
Texas OL visits Wyoming
"Wyoming offered me two weeks ago," said Christian Chamagua. "The official visit was great. It's a nice college town, and the coaches and players are cool. It's my only offer, so Wyoming stands out over the other schools. I'm also hearing from UTEP, Rice, SMU and UCA. All of those schools are in the same boat; they want to see senior film and evaluate it, so I sent that out. UTEP seems close to offering. I'm going to see if I get more offers and then possibly take more visits before I make a decision." Wyoming definitely made a favorable impression on the 6-foot-6, 290-pound senior. "They treated me real good," he said. "Their coaches told me they want me bad, and I'm the top offensive lineman on their board. The offensive line coaches were especially (attentive). They said they would be grateful to coach me in college. "It was the first time I've been to Wyoming. The temperature was great. The high was 70 degrees and the low was in the 40s. There was no humidity and the scenery was beautiful. There are mountains everywhere; snow-capped mountains and pine trees." With Manvel off to a 7-0 start, school spirit is running rampant at the Texas school. "We need to keep our chemistry going with no selfishness," stated Chamagua. "We have a brotherhood where we'll do anything for one another as teammates, and that helps us excel."
