Coach's Corner: Kenneth Dixon
Kenneth Dixon profile "He's the most complete player I've coached," said Shane Davis, head coach at Strong High School in southern Arkansas, in regard to his star player. "Kenneth (5-11, 210) is the hardest runner I've ever seen. It's hard for one man to bring him down and usually they don't; sometimes two or more men don't even bring him down. "Dixon is having a wonderful season for us. Through five games, he has 1,200 yards rushing and 15 to 16 touchdowns. He's doing a great job. I feel like he'll be just as tough a runner on the college level as he is now. Louisiana Tech got a steal. He likes it there at Tech and will run the ball hard for them. He's probably the best player I've coached and will be the one I compare other players in the future to." Davis says Dixon has the complete package at running back. "As big as he is - 210 pounds - he runs a 4.5," said Davis. "His mixture of size and speed is his biggest strength. And as good as an athlete Dixon is, he's an even better kid. He's a great person. Tech got a great person." Strong is 3-2 entering this week's game vs. Parkers Chapel. Last week, Strong hung 72 points on the board vs. Hampton (72-38 win).
