Downey linebacker Jabari Ruffin has been named as a US Army All-American and will be playing for the West in January's game. He was honored in a ceremony at his high school in front of his family and teammates. After the ceremony, he spoke with FOX Sports/Scout.com's Annabel Stephan about what the honor means to him.

After being honored by representatives of the US Army, Downey High School linebacker Jabari Ruffin was humble in his acceptance speech, thanking those close to him for their encouragement and support and calling the honor a "dream come true." Ruffin, a USC commit, is looking forward to joining a few other future Trojans in San Antonio while representing the west coast.
