Two lead for Florida QB
Gunnar Holcombe talked about his senior season. "Our season is going good, we've had two schools forfeit before we played them, but I've been playing really good," Holcombe said. At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Holcombe is one of the top quarterback prospects in south Florida and he talked about the recruiting process. "Marshall, Purdue, and Western Michigan are the schools that have been calling lately," he said. "Florida State talked to my coach and I may get a late offer from them, and West Virginia said the same thing." Two of those schools stand out above the rest and he talked about that. "arshall and Purdue are my top runners right now, I like both of those programs a lot, and their coaches stay in contact with me the most." Fittingly, Holcombe is on the verge of setting up those two official visits. "I'm going to Marshall either next weekend or the last game of the season, and I'm going to Purdue Nov 12 or 19," he said. "After those visits I'll be able to compare them pretty well." Inside the classroom Holcombe claims a 3.5 GPA and hasn't reported a test score yet.
