Anthony Lauro Gaining Attention
Anthony Lauro checks in from Bradenton (FL) Manatee High School and is flying under the radar. The 5'10 183-pound wide out talked to Scout.com about his Junior season. "The season is going great we just won the district by beating Venice last night 52-19. I had 7 carries for 99 yards and a TD. I also had 1 reception for a 67 yard TD, it was a blast. I feel I'm running the ball real well from the tailback position and after the catch. They use my speed around the ends and on options. In the Venice game I didn't have many carries, but I did a lot of down field blocking which I thought I did a good job and had fun doing it. I want the ball every play, but I know that's not possible, so I work on my blocking. I like how I'm being used as a TB and a receiver. I have been getting a lot of interest from South Carolina, coach Mangus has been sending me post cards with personal note wishing me good luck in the upcoming games. Also, Wisconsin is sending me a lot of letters and info about their program. Lately, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Miami, Rutgers, Michigan State has been sending information. Currently, I have no offers or trips planned."
