Keith Nichol's miraculous last second touchdown catch happened right in front of the recruits section in Spartan Stadium, and one of the interested observers was Spartan commit Josiah Price.
"It was awesome. I really love going up there every time I can," he said, "and to be there and witness that game was thrilling."
Price, a 6'4, 235-lb tight end, was present for the Spartans' victory over Michigan the week before as well.
Committed since the summer, he has built up a strong relationship with the other committed players in this class. Like many of them, Price had plenty of options and offers from other Big Ten schools, but he says he knows he made the right decision and sees himself and the rest of the 2012 class continuing with this year's group of Spartans has been doing.
"Me and several of the commits were all there and enjoyed the experience. We see where the Spartans are setting the bar extremely high again this year and can't wait to join the team and work to keep this thing going!"
Price's Comet squad stands at 7-3 on the season.
