McIntosh Hearing from SEC Programs
Matt McIntosh profile "I don't have any big offers yet, but everything is going straight right now," said Matt. "I am hearing a lot from Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Memphis. "None of them have offered me yet, but they are talking about it." The Florida Gators appear to have more than a passing interest in the north Mississippi standout. "Florida was waiting on me to take the ACT," said Matt. "I took it for the first time last weekend. "I am supposed to be taking an official visit there sometime soon, but I am not sure when." A pair of instate SEC programs have shown a lot of interest in Matt this season. "I have been liking Ole Miss a lot lately," said Matt. "I talk to Coach Brewer every week. He calls me some and I call him some. It's sort of back and forth. "He told me that they see me as a receiver and that he wants to get some more film of me. "Coach Sallach from Mississippi State calls me every week and they want me to play on defense. "I think they like me at corner, but it will be that or safety." McIntosh has had the chance to see the Bulldogs and Rebels in action some this fall. "I went to Memphis for their first game when they played Mississippi State," said Matt. "I have mainly seen Mississippi State and Ole Miss, but I will be going to see Florida soon. "I am going to Mississippi State this weekend for their game." The night before McIntosh takes in the homecoming affair against UT-Martin, he will do his best to close out his final regular season home game in style. "We play Olive Branch this Friday night on Senior night," said Matt. "It's going to be a good game. "They are undefeated and they are a great team. I know we are going to have to play a great game to get the win."
