Scout.com has confirmed through multiple sources that Erich Wilson, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete from Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., has switched his original commitment from Colorado to Washington after visiting the UW campus this past weekend on an official visit.

The Huskies are recruiting the versatile Wilson as an athlete who could do damage on either side of the ball. Right now for the Padres, Wilson is averaging nearly 11 yards per carry and has scored 21 touchdowns through eight games.

We plan on getting in touch with Wilson for thoughts on switching his commitment from one Pac-12 school to another, as well as Wilson's high school coach - Patrick Walsh - to find out more about Wilson as a player and person.
