Friday: Mishawaka at South Bend Washington at 7:00 p.m.
Washington is looking to repeat their regular season win over Mishawaka in this sectional championship game. Washington is lead by four-star linebacker-running back David Perkins, who decommitted from Notre Dame this week, and three-star WR Gehrig Dieter, one of the most productive and sure handed receivers in the country. We have word that at least one BCS school will be there checking out Dieter.

Saturday: Holland at Zeeland East at 7:00 p.m.
A bit of a personal trip, as I return to my alma mater for this crosstown playoff matchup. Holland has exciting junior Corey Willis, who is receiving his share of BCS interest along with senior linebacker Nathan Ricketts, who holds several offers. Zeeland East has a few seniors and junior getting college looks, along with sophomore running back-defensive back Spencer Viening, who has been putting up big numbers this year.

Aaron Cedeno, Recruiting Analyst, State of Kansas
Friday: Pittsburg (KS) St. Mary's- Colgan vs. Jefferson County (KS) North at 7:00 p.m.
Prospects: Christian Smith, Zachary Smith
One of the perils of playing Class 2A football in Kansas is standout performers tend to fly, well, more than a little under the radar where college coaches are concerned. But in twin brothers Chris and Zach Smith, the St. Mary's - Colgan Panthers have a pair of legitimate, high-level D-1 athletes who would start for any Class 6A program in the state. On offense, the brothers are both averaging in the realm of 15 yards per carry. At 6-foot and 180 pounds, they both run sub-4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash, making their speed tough to match for any opposing defense. The Twins are also excellent students, and are being pursued most heavily by the Ivy League schools - having taken unofficial visits to Harvard and Princeton this season. However, as the season ends and coaches begin to go over prospects and their senior film with a fine-toothed comb to round out their classes, look for these two to pop up on the radars of regional D-1 schools.
