UW Trip Report - Cory Littleton

Cory Littleton (Scout.com)

Cory Littleton is a 6-foot-2.5, 215-pound athlete from Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, Calif., and he joined teammate Malcolm Jackson on an official visit to Washington this past weekend. Jackson is already verbally committed to the Huskies. Is there a chance Littleton could join his teammate up north?

"I thought I was set on my decision after I took my visit to Nevada, but my visit to Washington changed a lot of it," Littleton told Scout.com Sunday night. When asked if that meant he had verbally committed to the Wolf Pack during his October official there, he said no.

"I plan on taking other visits, but I don't have any others set up yet," Littleton added.

Even though he plays defensive end for Mount Miguel, Washington is recruiting him as an outside linebacker. He told Scout that he has 13 sacks and 50 tackles for the Matadors this season. He claims scholarship offers from Washington, UCLA, Washington State, Nevada, and San Jose State.

So what did Littleton enjoy while on his visit to UW and Seattle? "The game, and how their fans are into the game and how loud is gets," he said. "That was big-time. Some of the freshmen, like Scotty (Lawyer), he took us out and showed us around. That was about it."

When asked to rate his visit on a scale from 1-10, Little gave his UW visit a 9.

Did the Washington coaches look to make it 2-for-2 when it comes to getting Mount Miguel prospects to verbally commit? "They are hoping I make a decision soon, but they are giving me enough room to take my time," Littleton said.

So does he have a timeline for his eventual decision? "Hopefully really soon. Hopefully by the end of my season," he said.
