Friday: Daphne at Prattville at 7:00 p.m CST
Key Players: Auburn commitment T.J. Yeldon (National 100 RB, Daphne), Florida State commitment Justin Shanks (National 100 DT, Prattville), Alabama commitment Justin Thomas (four-star Prattville), Alabama commitment Ryan Anderson (three-star DE, Daphne), Alabama commitment Caleb Gulledge (three-star OL, Prattville), Florida State commitment Austin Golson (2013 OL, Prattville), South Florida commitment Eric Lee (defensive end, Daphne), Wake Forest commitment Laronji Vason (three-star CB, Prattville), Arkansas State commitment Jalen Whitlow (three-star QB Prattville).

It's hard to find a better second round match up anywhere between two teams who were both ranked in the top 50 in the country at one point this year. Prattville was pre-season No. 1 before losing to St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.). The Lions fell again in an upset to Opelika. Daphne lost their only game of the season to top 50 team McGill-Toolen. The Trojans defeated Opelika in the first round. There is plenty of talent playing in this game with several major prospects. This game might determine who represents the south region in the Class 6A state championship.

Allen Trieu - National Recruiting Analyst, Midwest
Saturday: Grand Blanc at Rockford at 1:00 p.m.
The playoffs heat up in Michigan as this should be a hotly contested game in Division-1. Rockford has Michigan commit Ben Braden on the offensive line and junior safety K.C. Zenner is another we think will receive a lot of recruiting attention. Grand Blanc has a bevy of recruits on their roster. Cincinnati commit Lester Liston leads them at LB/RB along with Central Michigan commit Jordan Fields at WR/DB. Junior LB/DE Luke Maclean already has an offer and may be on his way to more, and junior quarterback Bart Williams is a 6'5 kid who has put up big numbers this year. Their receivers, Terrance Dye, Tearon Jameson and junior Clarence Fields all have collegiate potential as well.

Saturday: Middletown (10-1) vs. Cincinnati Moeller (8-3) at 5:00 p.m.
Middletown enters this second round playoff game looking to knock off Greater Catholic League power Moeller and standout wide receiver Monty Madaris who is still considering his options with Florida State and Michigan State believed to be the front runners. He is joined by another well polished receiver in senior Mike Means. While the Crusaders are able to hit from the air, they'll look to 2013 running back Keith Watkins to power up the running game. In front of this offensive firepower is 2013 offensive lineman Alex Gall.
The Middies are powered by 2013 five-star prospect Jalin Marshall who has already picked up offers from Notre Dame and Ohio State. He is joined by cornerback Cody Quinn (Illinois) and under the radar running back E.J. Junior and wide receiver Zach Edwards.

Saturday: Cincinnati (OH) Colerain (10-1) vs. Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier (8-3) at 8:15 p.m.
Colerain enters this second round playoff battle ranked in the Top 50 at #28. The Cardinals face a familiar foe in Greater Catholic League power St. Xavier. This is the fifth time in the past seven seasons the two teams have battled in the Division I, Region 4 playoffs. St. Xavier holds a 3-1 record during this stretch of postseason match-ups.
St. Xavier is led by offensive lineman Brandyn Cook (Pittsburgh). He is joined by outside linebacker Nathan Gerbus (Miami Ohio), defensive end Bryson Albright (Miami Ohio). The player to keep in eye on is Class of 2013 wide receiver Trey Kilgore. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete is getting lots of early interest.
Colerain is led by linebacker Joe Bolden (Michigan) and defensive tackle Trae Clark who holds several offers including West Virginia and Michigan State. They are joined by Cincinnati pledge Andre Jones who is a hard hitting safety. The Cardinals also have two underclassmen to keep an eye on in 2013 offensive lineman Dylan Wiseman who holds an offer from Cincinnati and 2014 athlete Travon Hudson who stands 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Hudson is already turning heads and receiving interest from many of the top BCS programs in the country.

Friday: Hilliard Davidson vs. Upper Arlington at Columbus St. Francis de Sales HS at 7:00 p.m.
In a rematch from three weeks ago, Upper Arlington will try to avenge their 7-25 loss to Hilliard Davidson in the second round of the state playoffs. Upper Arlington will stand behind 2012 Ohio State commit Frank Epitropoulos and 2012 Toledo commit James Henry. On the other side, Hilliard Davidson averages almost 400 yards on the ground each game, so look for 2012 RB Alex Mickley to take charge. In the rare occasion that Hilliard Davidson will put the ball in the air, 2012 WR Tyler Talbott is who will most likely be catching it.
