Senior Film: Curtis Riser

Scout.com takes a look at senior clips of the DeSoto five-star offensive lineman Curtis Riser. Riser, who is already committed to play for the Longhorns, is currently rated as the top offensive guard in the country.

Eval: Riser is one of the most steady performers on the line. He rarely makes a bad play and that makes cutting his highlights difficult because every play is a positive. You end up with a 30:00 minute highlight clip. He still gets his fair share of pancake blocks and plays hard until the whistle. He plays left tackle in high school, but will make the move to the interior as a guard on the next level at Texas, but when watching film you can see that he has the feet and quickness to play tackle, he may just not have the ideal wingspan. He is technically sound and that should help him see the field early in college.
