First Official Set for Allen

Missouri City Elkins WR Chance Allen

Scout.com has received new information in regards to the recruitment of Elkins wide receiver Chance Allen from Missouri City, Texas. He has set up his first official visit.

Even though the season is over for Missouri City (TX) Elkins wide receiver Chance Allen, that does not mean that recruiting has ceased. And really, everything has picked up over the past couple of weeks.

Sure, he has close to 10 offers to date, but there are a handful of programs that have the attention of the Scout.com three-star athlete. According to Allen's uncle, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Allen has set up an official with the top-ranked Oregon program. It was stated that the arrangements took place during a Sunday conversation with the Oregon coaches. The visit will be the weekend the Ducks take on Oregon State

Aside from the new interest in the Pac-12 program, Arkansas and Iowa State are the other programs that are likely to get visits from Allen. It seems as though these programs are the ones that are the primary focus for Allen. He was the team's leading receiver with 52 catches for 892 yards and 10 touchdowns.
