An Egg Bowl Visit
Brandon Holloway isn't from the state of Mississippi so the Mississippi State - Ole Miss rivalry isn't one he grew up with. Still, he's developed an understanding and appreciation for it from a distance. Now, he will be able to say he knows what it's all about first hand. "I'm going to visit State for the Egg Bowl. I really can't wait. I've heard so much about it and I want to be there with the other guys who have committed with me. It's going to be amazing. We even had a hard time finding a hotel. I know there will be so many people there!" Holloway says he is still very much committed to Mississippi State and he doesn't see that changing. "I'm very solid to State. I love the coaches and I like what I think I can do there. It's a great opportunity and they are going to give it to me if I work for it. I'm looking forward to it." Holloway is in regular contact with a few coaches at MSU. He says it means a lot to him that they continue to take time to talk to him about his future there. "I talk to coach Mullen and coach Mirando every week. They are just excited to get me there and coach me up and they think I can make a good impact early on." But, what is Holloway most excited for? He says it's hard to pick just one thing that sticks out to him when he thinks about heading to Starkville for college. "I can't wait for the atmosphere. It will be great to say I'm in college there and just go and work out and get myself ready to play." Holloway is also eagerly anticipating spending more time with future teammates he's already become close with. "I talk to Fred Brown and Cedric Jiles a lot. We just talk about getting up there and getting things done in the SEC." Holloway's upcoming visit to Starkville will be an unofficial trip but he says he will take an official visit to MSU in January.
