Indianapolis Pike defensive end David Kenney has seen his recruitment quickly pick up speed since the end of his season as the 6'2, 255-lb junior has gone from zero to three offers in the span of a few weeks.
"I just picked up offer number three from Iowa State," Kenney reported earlier this morning.
The Cyclones join in-state rival Iowa and Indiana on his offer list. His father, David Kenney Sr. says today's news came from the head man himself.
"Coach Paul Rhodes, the head coach at Iowa State offered David personally."
Kenney Sr. says another school jumped in this week with a visit invitation, but his son is a man of his word.
"Michigan just popped out said they want him to come up for the game this weekend against Ohio State, but he's already committed to Indiana-Purdue game and Dave wants to keep his word."
Kenney has already been to Iowa, Indiana, Illinois and Notre Dame for summer camps and game visits this fall.
