English Narrows List to Two
Auburn (Wash.) offensive lineman Cory English has wrapped up his senior season. However, the 6'4" 285lbs prospect hasn't stopped getting ready for games. "Things are good, I'm just working out getting ready for the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl," said English. "I leave for that on December 26th and get to play in the new Cowboys stadium." English is wrapping up his recruitment with a pair of visits. He visited Oregon State earlier in the season and had been talking about taking a visit to Washington State, something he no longer plans to do. "I have taken an official visit to Oregon State," said English. "I am going to take a visit to Washington in December. I might visit Idaho because I have talked to their coaches a lot and they want me to come check it out." It is no shock that English will end up visiting the Beavers and Huskies because he lists them as the programs that are recruiting him the hardest. "Washington and Oregon State both want me a lot," said English. "I have a lot of respect for both coaches." So will his final decision come down to those two? "Yeah, most likely," said English. "I'll make the decision when I feel it is right. After my visit to Washington I will talk to my family and probably make a decision." English talked about the factors that will weigh most heavily in his decision. "The future is really important," said English. "I want to go somewhere I feel like I can win a championship. Also where the coaches can get me to the next level." Jake Worthen is a West Recruiting Analyst for Scout.com. Follow him on Twitter | Contact him at E-Mail | .
