Class A: Sto-Rox vs. Clairton 11:00 a.m.
Clairton features on of the top juniors in the state running back Tyler Boyd and senior wide receiver and Pittsburgh commitment Trenton Coles. Sto-Rox counters with a trio of D-I senior prospects four-star outside linebacker Deaysean Rippy, three-star wide receiver Marzett Geter who is headed to Pittsburgh and Syracuse bound safety Dontez Ford.
Class AAA: Montour vs. Knoch 2:00 p.m.
Montour is led by senior running back Julian Durden who is headed to Kent State and junior wide receiver Devin Wilson. Montour has several seniors who could land at D-I schools including quarterback Dillon Buechel, wide receiver Darren Massey, senior lineman Domenic Martinelli and junior defensive tackle Ty Haddock.
Class AA: Aliquippa vs. Jeannette 5:00 p.m.
Jeannette is led by four-star safety/quarterback Demetrious Cox and junior running back Shavonta Craft. Aliquippa will look to super sophomores running back/cornerback Dravon Henry and lineman Jaleel Fields.
Class AAAA: No. 20 North Allegheny vs. No. 31 Upper St. Clair 8:00 p.m.
Upper St. Clair will look to avenge their only loss of the season in a rematch with North Alleghent. USC is led by four-star quarterback/linebacker Dakota Conwell who is headed to Pittsburgh. Three-star guard Ian Park and three-star tight end Jack Schwaba, who are both heading to Northwestern. The Tigers feature Top 100 junior lineman Patrick Kugler, arguably the top lineman in the state. Junior quarterback Mack Leftwich, junior cornerback/wide receiver Brendan Coniker and sophomore wide receiver/cornerback Elijah Zeise.
Brian Dohn- Northeast Recruiting Analyst
Long Branch (N.J.) High at Red Bank Regional High (Little Silver, N.J.).
Long Branch features offensive tackle Ryan Brodie, who is looking at Connecticut, Rutgers, Illinois, West Virginia and Miami, and class of 2013 running back Dwight Clark. Red Bank Regional has class of 2013 DE/LB Garrett Sickels, who has offers from Rutgers, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Notre Dame, Alabama, Boston College and Stanford.

Eastern Region Championship- Oscar Smith vs. Salem at 7:30 p.m.
Leading the pack at Oscar Smith is Virginia Tech-bound running back J.C. Coleman and Michigan State-bound wide receiver Sequan Gooding. On defense it's JMU commit Rhakeem Stallings holding them down.
Salem features a younger crop of talent in junior quarterback Bucky Hodges, who has received a lot of hype this year at helm, along with 2013 receiver prospect Kwamane Bowens.
Chad Simmons - National Recruiting Analyst, South
Friday: Peach County at Carrollton at 7:30 p.m.
Top Prospects: Carrollton is led by Auburn commitment Jonathan Jones and he will be up against the top 2013 wide receiver in Georgia Demarcus Robinson from Peach County. Robinson already has offers from Florida and
Andrew Bone - Southeast Recruiting Analyst
Friday: Clay County at Handley in Roanoke, Ala. at 7:00 p.m.
Key Players: Bradley Bozeman, 2013 Alabama commitment. Clay County is a
powerhouse program, and this is their final year before combining schools with
Lineville (another powerhouse program and in the 2A semi-finals). One of
Handley’s closest games all year (20-13) was against Clay County when the two
teams played in week three. Handley is undefeated this season (13-0) with Clay
County holding the one loss (12-1).

Friday: Oxford vs. Hoover at 7:00 p.m.
Hoover is in the state semifinals for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons dating back to 2000. Hoover’s in search of its eighth state championship this season. Oxford won Class 5A titles in 1988, 1989 and 1993. Dating back to 2000, Hoover has won 51 playoff games. The three wins the Jackets have recorded this year give them seven playoff victories during the same span. From Oxford's team, I will be checking out Michael Flint (2012, remains uncommitted with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State and UCLA) Trae Elston (2012, remains uncommitted with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA) Ulric Jones (2013, remains uncommitted with offers from Alabama and Auburn), and Clavin Baker (2012-OG). From Hoover there is Marlon Humphrey (2014 CB) and Jamal Lucas (2013 ILB).

Hillsborough: 2012 DL Earl Moore (Miami) and 2013 DL Jordan Sherit lead the way

No. 7 Karr (9-3) challenges No. 2 St. Thomas More (11-1) in a Class 4A quarterfinal game. Karr, which finished as the 2010 4A state runner-up to Franklinton, is rolling along after a sluggish start. The visiting Cougars have won eight in a row. St. Thomas More reached the 5A semifinals last year before dropping down to 4A due to reclassification.

This might be the biggest Friday night in the history of Pearl River County,
Mississippi. The two schools are less than ten miles apart, so there will be a
tremendous amount of local interest along the Mississippi gulf coast. Both
schools have had big seasons. Picayune was expected to challenge for the 5A
south state title, but Pearl River Central is this year's Cinderella story.

Illinois State Championships
The Illinois state championships are upon us, and Champaign Memorial Stadium
will be taken over on Friday and Saturday to decide the 1A-8A state champions.
On display will be plenty of top prospects:
1A. Tuscola vs Dakota 10AM Friday
2A Casey (C. Westfield) vs Morrison 1PM Friday
3A Mt. Carmel vs Aurora (A. Christian) 4PM Friday
Mount Carmel is led by 2012 DT and Illinois commit Vontrell Williams, and 2012 S
and Central Michigan commit Brandon Greer. Aurora Christian is led by high
powered 2012 QB and Western Michigan commit Anthony Maddie. The two will go head
to head for the 3A Illinois state championship.
4A Rochester vs Richmond (R. Burton) 7PM Friday
Rochester is highlighted by the top QB prospect in the state of Illinois -- Wes
Lunt who has committed to Oklahoma State. Rochester takes on Richmond as they
try to defend their state title.
5A Joliet (Catholic Academy) vs Lombard Montini 10AM Saturday
Joliet Catholic and Lombard Montini kick off the day of football on Saturday as
Montini tries to defend their 2010 state title. Montini is led by playmaker and
Nebraska WR 2012 commit Jordan Westerkamp and Iowa 2012 DL commit Jaleel Johnson. Joliet Catholic is led by Northwestern 2012 RB commit Malin Jones and
emerging 2013 4-star RB Ty Issac who has offers from Illinois, Notre Dame, Iowa,
Michigan and others.
6A Peoria (Richwoods) vs Crystal Lake (Prairie Ridge) 1PM Saturday
Prarie Ridge is led by 2014 OG prospect Shane Evans, who is beginning to receive
attention on the recruiting scene. Evans and the rest of his Prairie Ridge team
go up against Richwoods HS for the 6A state championship.
7A Wheaton Warrenville South vs Rockford (Boylan Catholic) 4PM Saturday
The defending 6A champions have moved up a classification, but are still in the
hunt for the title -- Boylan Catholic takes on Wheaton Warrenville South in the
7A championship. This one pits two Northwestern commits against each other,
Boylan Catholic's Dean Lowery a 2012 DE and Wheaton Warrenville South's 2012 RB
8A Bolingbrook vs Willamette (Loyola) 7PM Saturday
A red hot Bolingbrook HS team rolls into the 8A state championships against
Loyola. Bolingbrook is led by Florida commit 2012 LB Antonio Morrison, 2012 OL
and Illinois Commit Robert Bain, early 2013 4-star QB Aaron Bailey, and 2013
emerging prospect at TE Chandler Piekarski. Those prospects cap off a weekend
full of football in Champaign against Loyola HS.

Friday: Jenks vs. Union at Stillwater at 7:30pm
This showdown will feature a number of division one talents, but Oklahoma commit
Alex Ross will take center stage after returning to the field last weekend.
Saturday: Dallas Skyline vs. Klein Oak at Waco ISD at 7:00pm
Skyline boasts Texas commits Thomas Johnson and Peter Jinkens playing alongside
a host of other top D1 stars. Oak also has a number of D1 stars, but is led by
Nick Baratti who is going on to play at Notre Dame.

Unbeaten Upland is loaded with prospects, from Arizona State commit Kenny Lawler, 2013 Washington commit Joe Mathis, to running back Donta Abron and
receiver Marques Mosely, who both have Colorado offers, as well as top-10
fullback Christian Powell, who will visit Washington this weekend.
Rancho Cucamonga vs. Redlands East Valley at 7:00 p.m.
Redlands East Valley is paced by quarterback Austin DeCoud, one of the top
uncommitted quarterbacks in the Southland, and looks to stay unbeaten and still
alive in the CIF State Bowl race.
Santa Margarita vs. Long Beach Poly at 7:00 p.m.
The Eagles boast four-star USC commit Max Tuerk and Scout 100 for 2013
lineman Riley Sorenson as well as other juniors to watch like Erik Bunte and
Johnny Stanton. Poly has five Arizona State commits, linebackers Salamo Fiso and Matthew Rowe, receiver Josiah Blandin and cornerbacks Richard Smith and
Randall Goforth as well as Texas A&M commit Alonzo Williams to go with 2013
safety David Price.
Westlake vs. Hart at 7:00 p.m.
The Warriors feature a slew of commits, from Colorado defensive tackle
verbal Justin Solis, Nevada receiver commit Cody Tuttle and UCLA cornerback
commit Dashon Hunt to 2013 quarterback Justin Moore, who has an SMU offer, and
three-star defensive lineman Johnny Miller.
San Clemente vs. St. John Bosco at 7:00 p.m.
This one features five-stars on each squad, with San Clemente led by
five-star offensive tackle Kyle Murphy and St. John Bosco led by five-star
receiver Bryce Treggs. There are a number of other prospects too, like
Utah commit Travis Wilson for the Tritons and Arizona commit Beau Boyster for

Skyline will try to upset the top team out of their conference, Woodinville behind the arm of 2013 Top 100 prospect QB Max Browne.
Lake Stevens vs. Skyview at Tacoma Dome at 7:00 p.m.
Jake Nelson is one of the top statistical quarterbacks in the state, he will face the unknown power from Vancouver, Skyview.
Kevin Carden, West Recruiting Analyst
Friday: Venice vs. Carson at 7:00 p.m.
The quarterfinal matchup in the City Section playoffs matches a pair of
four-star's, Carson four-star receiver Darreus Rogers and Venice's four-star
cornerback Gabriel Marks, who's also a big-play receiver for the Gondos.
Rogers is a commit to USC and Marks is a verbal to SMU.
