Georgia travels to Atlanta Saturday to play Georgia Tech and some of the in-state commitments from each program share their thoughts on the rivalry here.
Georgia Tech
Pat Gamble: "When I think of this rivalry, I think of the history over the years. It is kind of like them being gladiators and going to battle for their state. Each team is fighting to own their state and I predict my squad Georgia Tech wins 24-21 in a close game."
Chase Roberts: "I think about the games I have watched on TV or in person when I think back about this rivalry. This is clearly the biggest college football game in Georgia and it is the one we all remember no matter what the records are. These games have always been close and I think Tech wins in a good game."
Georgia
John Atkins: "I think the game is one of the biggest rivalries ever. I think it will be a good game, but Georgia will pull it out 24-10."
James Deloach: "I think this is one of the biggest rivalries in all of college football and the winner gets a year worth of bragging rights. I think UGA is going to come out a winner this year 21-17."
Overall, Georgia has commitments from nine prospects in their home state and Georgia Tech has six.
Out of those 15, only four had offers from each school before they made their decisions. They were James Deloach, Patrick Gamble, Quayvon Hicks, and Jonathan Taylor.
