Class of 2013 Whitehouse High wide receiver Dylan Cantrell has picked up an offer from an in-state program.

Dylan Cantrell, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound wide receiver from Whitehouse High in Texas has happy to report a new scholarship offer.

"I received offer from Rice today," informed Cantrell.

The speedy receiver was also offered by Ole Miss prior to Houston Nutt's firing and is hearing from a wide array of top college programs from coast-to-coast.

Baylor, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Houston, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Texas and Texas Tech are also showing early interest.

As a junior, Cantrell broke former five-star Trey Metoyer's records at the hhigh school by hauling in 86 receptions for 1,402 yards and 21 touchdowns
